About The Position

The Analyst Nonqualified Analytics is a financial analyst whose primary responsibility is to provide financial analysis and financial reporting for nonqualified (NQ) retirement plan new business and existing clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with Excel
  • Detailed oriented
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Life insurance license within established guidelines
  • FINRA series 6 and 63 within established guidelines
  • FINRA fingerprinting required
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT.

  • Financial services or data analytics experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage deliverables to ensure meeting of SLA’s, prioritization of work and adherence to department protocols
  • Research life insurance and NQ concepts
  • Assist senior level Nonqualified Analysts with entering asset and liability data into department data analytic models
  • Learn department data analytic models
  • Shadow more senior level Nonqualified Analysts to learn projects and book of business
  • Work on less complex financial models to support ad hoc and manual client requests
  • Support key initiatives and projects (including market research, model optimization and process improvements) as needed
  • Display “ownership” mentality – take accountability, act with a sense of urgency, actively engage in ongoing learning
  • Support team and organizational initiatives through active engagement and participation in projects, team meetings, and Q&A sessions
