About The Position

This is a scientist position in our protein analytics lab, where you will focus on developing robust analytical assays for a wide variety of protein structures, ranging from monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) to complex enzymes. You will lead the implementation of comprehensive developability assay panels to evaluate the stability, quality, and performance of these diverse molecule types. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D in biochemistry, biotechnology, analytical chemistry or another relevant discipline. The applicant’s experience should include exposure to protein analytical methods, particularly including MS, and prior experience working with proteins in an analytical setting. The ideal candidate will have an organized and systematic approach to technical challenges, as well as a track record of collaborative relations with groups such as research & development, analytical development, and protein production operations.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • 0–2+ years of relevant industry experience (or equivalent combination of education and industry experience).
  • Exposure to protein analytical methods, particularly including MS.
  • Prior experience working with proteins in an analytical setting.
  • Organized and systematic approach to technical challenges.
  • Track record of collaborative relations with groups such as research & development, analytical development, and protein production operations.
  • Proficiency in key analytical techniques, such as HPLC, binding assays, ELISA, and LC-MS.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and executing developability assay panels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize competing demands.
  • Deep technical expertise in operating and maintaining relevant laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
  • Proficiency within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
  • Clear and proactive communication skills.
  • Effective collaboration in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and evolving operational requirements.
  • Ability to monitor and manage inventory levels for laboratory consumables, reagents, and equipment maintenance.
