About The Position

The Analytical Sciences Technician works with a group of laboratory professionals to support various projects across the organization by delivering accurate analytical testing of dairy ingredients and fermented products using a wide range of laboratory techniques.

Requirements

B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or a related field.
Excellent laboratory skills.
Detail-oriented.
Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
Ability to work as a team member and independently.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer, including Microsoft Excel, and math skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare, label, and document samples according to the standard procedure.
Perform routine, semi-routine, and complex duties associated with various aspects of analytical testing according to the standard laboratory procedures.
Prepare reagents, buffers, and samples.
Maintain accurate records and report test results in a timely manner.
Clean and maintain all glassware and equipment.
Operates laboratory equipment as detailed in the laboratory procedure.
Participate in training to improve the accuracy, precision, and efficiency.
Perform other laboratory tasks when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
