Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
At least 1 year of laboratory experience working with chemicals and analytical instrumentation
Strong commitment to laboratory safety and experience following safety protocols and audits
Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain detailed records, and communicate results effectively
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer skills

Nice To Haves

Experience working with advanced analytical instrumentation and materials characterization techniques
Familiarity with method development and validation in a research or industrial laboratory setting
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment
Experience documenting work in electronic lab notebooks or data management systems
Good manual dexterity and ability to handle delicate laboratory equipment

Responsibilities

Conduct sampling, preparation, and analysis of materials using advanced analytical techniques such as ICP-OES, PSD, titration, BET, and TGA
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory while adhering to all HS&E policies and standard operating procedures
Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods to support materials characterization and research initiatives
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable data generation
Collaborate with cross-functional R&D and technical teams to meet project goals and timelines
Analyze and interpret experimental data, clearly communicating findings to internal stakeholders
Document experimental procedures, results, and observations in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems
