About The Position

The Analytical Chemist will perform quality control testing on products and raw materials per established GMP and SOPs. This role involves producing and maintaining calibration records, maintaining analytical equipment, and determining the pass/fail status of production samples. The chemist will also provide technical support to production and customer service, carry out preventative maintenance duties, compile and organize test data records, and produce accurate analytical certifications. A key responsibility includes using Gas Chromatography to analyze and certify complex liquid and gas calibration standards, performing analysis on medical gases per SOPs and GMPs, and supporting the plant validation team with analytical duties. The role also requires completing and maintaining FDA medical gas paperwork and performing all other assigned duties.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (emphasis on chemistry and/or math) or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Experience with gas chromatography and process gas analyzers preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control testing on products per established GMP and SOP’s
