About The Position

Join the Nalley Consulting team as an Analytic Methodologist. This role is based at DIA HQ, Joint Base Anacostia Bolling, Washington, DC. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • 3+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, data mining, decision analysis or modeling and simulation.
  • 3+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis, such as Python or R
  • Experience developing and documenting predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
  • Formal training or professional experience conducting quantitative social science, including survey design and analysis and/or field or laboratory experiments.
  • Possession of excellent detail-oriented and organizational skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, computer science or quantitative social science or four additional years of experience in those fields.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in quantitative social science including statistics and methodological training.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and documenting predictive data models.
  • Conducting quantitative analyses.
  • Visualization of targeted data sources.
  • Conducting quantitative social science, including survey design and analysis and/or field or laboratory experiments.
  • Working with non-technical audiences on technical problems in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment.
  • Balancing long and short-term taskings.
  • Taking poorly defined problems and converting them into questions for which practical quantitative solutions can be defined.
  • Exhibiting flexibility, initiative, and innovation to succeed in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Composing client deliverable quality documentation, analysis, and reports.
