About The Position

This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs and funding availability. We are seeking an Expert-Level Analytical Facilitator at Nellis Air Force Base to provide advanced analytical leadership and exercise support to Air Combat Command (ACC) intelligence programs. This role is critical to the planning, development, execution, and evaluation of intelligence exercises supporting Air Force, Joint, and Intelligence Community (IC) operations. The selected candidate will serve as a senior subject matter expert responsible for integrating doctrine, tradecraft, and operational intelligence into realistic training environments. This position requires extensive experience supporting Large Force Employment (LFE) exercises (e.g., RED FLAG) and agile combat employment training events, with a focus on Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) integration.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Large Force Employment (LFE) exercises, such as Exercise RED FLAG.
  • Proven expertise in ISR and intelligence support to operational training and exercises.
  • Strong background in exercise planning, intelligence integration, and scenario development.
  • Experience facilitating group discussions, analytic exchanges, or training events
  • Proficiency with structured analytic techniques and critical thinking methodologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including briefing senior military and civilian leaders (General Officer/SES+)
  • Ability to work with diverse teams in fast-paced, classified environments
  • Willingness to comply with all DoD, Air Force, and IC security and conduct standards
  • Ability to complete and maintain required training throughout contract performance
  • Availability to support CONUS and OCONUS missions as required
  • Responsible for maintaining qualifications and training unless Government-directed
  • TS/SCI eligibility
  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree plus an additional 5 years of expert-level experience (total 20 years)
  • 15 years of relevant intelligence analysis, exercise planning or ISR training experience, with recent experience within the past 2 years

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting IC or DoD analytic training programs
  • Understanding of Joint Air Operations planning and Joint targeting processes
  • Experience as an intelligence analyst, instructor, or mentor
  • Familiarity with ICD 203 and related analytic integrity standards
  • Experience supporting operational or mission-focused analytic teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to guide senior analysts and leaders

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive planning and technical support to intelligence exercises, training events, test activities, and readiness initiatives (scheduled and ad hoc).
  • Collaborate with USAF Warfare Center (USAFWC), ACC, 505 CTS, and operational units to design realistic exercise scenarios supporting Agile Combat Employment (ACE) and Large Force Employment (LFE) events
  • Support program management, monitoring, and execution of ACC intelligence exercise programs.
  • Participate in and facilitate planning meetings, working groups, and exercise forums to ensure alignment with ACC, Air Force, and Joint training objectives.
  • Track and report exercise status, provide leadership updates, and support post-exercise debriefs and assessments.
  • Lead analytical efforts to define complex intelligence problems and develop actionable solutions.
  • Design, implement, and refine analytic methodologies, tradecraft, and production processes.
  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate DoD, Service, and IC doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) into exercise scenarios and training frameworks
  • Encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and analytic rigor in group settings
  • Document analytic processes, outcomes, and lessons learned as required
  • Coordinate with instructors, analysts, and government leads to support training objectives
  • Ensure all facilitation activities comply with security, policy, and tradecraft requirements
