About The Position

The Analyst Programmer will be responsible, among other things, for carrying out developments, integrations of different services, and automation of tests related to the Axway software package. They will also be required to provide the necessary support to the production management team to restore system availability during incidents. In this role, the Analyst Programmer maintains close contact with their squad (business analyst, developers, tech lead) as well as with collaborators from business units, subject matter experts, and other members of the Digital & Analytics Solutions team. They contribute to proposing solutions for process optimization and application rationalization. Through their understanding of needs and expertise in finance, the Analyst Programmer helps assess the impact of the chosen solution on business processes and ensures the solution meets current needs. They support business analysts and business partners in carrying out various tests.

Requirements

  • University degree in finance, accounting, or computer science
  • In the absence of a university degree, any training and work experience deemed equivalent may be considered
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in the implementation of the Axway AI suite or other accounting interpretation tools (e.g., ISIE from publisher ACA/Cegid ISIE)
  • Knowledge of the Accounting Integration module of Axway (formerly RDJ) is an asset
  • Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in data integration development: Web API integration, Data mapping, Data transformation, Format conversion, Interaction with databases (SQL), Implementation of automated integration tests
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the following elements is an asset: HTTP protocol, REST, JSONPath, SOAP protocol, Language: Groovy, .Net, Java, Javascript, Python or .Net, IPAAS integration platform (SnapLogic), Experience with implementing/maintaining branching strategies (Azure DevOps)
  • Experience in finance or accounting

Responsibilities

  • Accompany the team in implementing the solution and understanding the technologies
  • Ensure the quality of the solution in conjunction with the work squad
  • Promote adherence to standards and norms established by the organization
  • Collaborate when required on functional analysis
  • Write technical analysis documents
  • Actively participate in refinement sessions to enrich proposed solutions
  • Develop assigned stories
  • Optimize code for deployment to reduce processing times
  • Correct issues identified during code review
  • Update or write technical documentation related to developments performed (technical analysis, recovery manual, operating guide, etc.)
  • Correct anomalies found in integrated and acceptance tests
  • Analyze, identify, and resolve issues and incidents
  • Perform deliveries and support analysts during deployment
  • Assume all other tasks requested by their project manager or supervisor
