About The Position

In this stimulating role, you will be responsible for continuing to evolve our internally developed applications. These applications are newly developed, with a very recent production launch. They are web applications utilizing artificial intelligence, information from embedded systems (IoT), and more. They employ new technologies such as Python, React, AWS, Azure, Power Apps, etc.

Requirements

  • College or university diploma in computer science.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software development environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of: Python, Typescript (CICD), JS (react), Power Apps, LogicApps, C#, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS services such as: AWS IoT Core (GreenGrass, IoT Rules), AWS Lambda, AWS SQS, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Elasticache.
  • Good knowledge of implementing best practices for Power Platform.
  • Good knowledge of tools: Github (repository, Action, Security Features) CDK (CICD), MS Azure services such as: Ubuntu Virtual Servers, Virtual Network, DNS, Disk, Blob, Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server and blobs.
  • Excellent ability to work in a team.
  • Strong ability to adapt to change.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of embedded systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement functionalities based on prior needs analyses.
  • Ensure code corrections are made if bugs are found.
  • Ensure changes are tested and that quality code/solutions are delivered.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Ensure solutions and important project parts are documented.
  • Participate in the implementation of good development practices.
  • Ensure tools for work tracking (Jira, DevOps) are updated.
  • Participate in SCRUM/Kanban.
  • Ensure adherence to processes established in the development cycle.
  • Respond to user questions.
