About The Position

The Category Management Analyst, Hot Beverages plays a key role in supporting both customer-facing category initiatives and internal business performance reviews. This position partners with key accounts to deliver category insights, assortment recommendations, merchandising strategies, and data-driven solutions that drive category growth and strengthen customer relationships. The analyst is responsible for supporting the monthly business review process by developing performance reporting, identifying key trends and opportunities, and translating data into actionable recommendations for commercial teams and leadership. Additionally, this role serves as the organization's lead expert in planogram development and space management, leveraging shopper, sales, and market data to optimize shelf layouts, assortment strategies, and in-store execution across the Hot Beverages portfolio.

Requirements

  • University degree in business, administration or any other relevant field;
  • Proficiency in Planogram management software (JDA/Blue Yonder Space planning)
  • Experience Nielsen (Workstation Plus, MarketTrack, Homescan, Connect Express)
  • Advanced level of Excel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word and Powerpoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with retailer POS/Loyalty databases (ex: Dunnhumby, IRI, LDIA) is an asset;
  • Bilingualism (French & English) an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support key customer accounts with category analysis, insights, and recommendations. (ex. Nielsen, Dunnhumby, LDIA & Circana)
  • Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly business reviews, highlighting performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain category reporting, scorecards, and business performance dashboards.
  • Build and optimize planograms using category, shopper, and retailer-specific insights. (JDA)
  • Conduct space and assortment analyses to maximize sales, profitability, and shelf productivity.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Category Management, and Commercial teams to develop customer-facing category strategies.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for shelf optimization, merchandising best practices, and space management tools.
