About The Position

Synechron is seeking recent graduates who are looking for an opportunity to apply their foundational academic skills while focusing their professional development within the financial services industry through the Synechron Employee Enablement and Development (SEED) Program. As a SEED participant, you will focus on professional growth by working closely with a team of experienced consultants on a variety of projects designed to provide industry-specific experience. In addition, you will be expected to obtain certifications and continuously develop new skills and tools to support your career growth. Upon successful completion of the SEED Program, you will be assigned to a client engagement and begin working as a full-time consultant. The SEED Program is open to candidates who can start full-time employment in September and are currently residing in Montreal. Candidates must be bilingual in both French and English.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 6 months to 2 years of professional experience. Candidates with more than 3 years of experience will not be considered.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, TFS, SQL queries, and test automation tools such as Parasoft, HP UFT, SoapUI, and Cucumber (an asset).
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (an asset).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage complexity, drive innovation, and maintain a customer-focused approach.
  • Bilingual in French and English.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of cloud environments and cloud computing concepts.
  • Ability to provide guidance on vendor management and work effectively within an advanced technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, understand, and communicate business requirements within the team.
  • Collaborate on the detailed design of solutions and define functional specifications with the Product Owner and project team.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to refine requirements and manage product backlogs.
  • Advise and guide the development team, recommend functional alternatives, and participate in defining project scope, including user stories, releases, sprints, and projects.
  • Define and execute functional testing strategies, whether automated or manual, and ensure all required documentation is completed.
  • Participate in deployment strategies, perform testing, and contribute to the resolution of defects and issues.
