About The Position

The Financial Analyst (FP&A) position is based in Montreal, QC, and operates on a day shift schedule. The salary range for this role is between $57,500 - $107,500 CDN per year. This role involves forecasting and budgeting for orders, sales, operating income, and cash flow, including coordination, preparation, and analysis of various financial reports for submission to the US. It also includes weekly analysis and reporting of these financial metrics, analysis of risks and opportunities related to monthly forecasts, and participation in financial reporting process improvement projects. The analyst will contribute to the development of the three-year plan and the annual operating plan (AOP), monitor general and administrative budgets to ensure costs are accounted for and controlled, and regularly track general expenses to ensure budget compliance and identify savings opportunities. Ad-hoc financial analysis on specific topics will also be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Rigor and strong accounting and finance skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Team spirit and collaboration.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluency in French and English.
  • Eligibility for Controlled Goods Program registration.
  • Eligibility for obtaining and maintaining a Canadian government reliability status and Level II / NATO Secret security clearance.

  • Previous experience with Hyperion Planning and Oracle SmartView.
  • Previous experience in the aerospace and defense industry.

Responsibilities
