About The Position

CAA-Québec is seeking an Application Systems Analyst to support the evolution and performance of its roadside assistance platforms. In a context of large-scale digital transformation, you will assist various business sectors to optimize our platforms, ensure their performance, and support the delivery of impeccable service to our members on the road. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) with a hybrid remote work arrangement, requiring travel to our Quebec City or Montreal offices twice a week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or an appropriate discipline (an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience may also be considered).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or a similar role.
  • Experience in the operationalization of packaged software.
  • Strong teamwork, conviviality, and commitment.
  • Good synthesis skills and ability to effectively prioritize problems.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High learning capacity and rapid mastery of new concepts.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in French.
  • Functional level of English (required due to interactions with English-speaking clients, partners, and/or suppliers).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of software development or application integration via API.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with business lines, analysts, and stakeholders to clarify, structure, and validate business needs and requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
  • Design efficient and scalable solutions in collaboration with the architecture team to ensure alignment with the company's technological directions.
  • Specify, configure, test, and deploy functionalities in collaboration with business and IT teams, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate integrations with third-party systems in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure that evolutions and new functionalities go through all stages of the process, from analysis to deployment, including testing.
  • Collaborate with specialized teams (business intelligence, security, compliance, continuity) to guarantee system availability, integrity, security, and reliability.
  • Analyze, test, and coordinate periodic solution updates.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to system functionalities and data quality.
  • Contribute to optimal license management and continuous cost optimization.
  • Provide on-call support outside of business hours (50% of the time).
