About The Position

The Product Development Analyst supports the end‑to‑end product development lifecycle by providing analytical, operational, and cross‑functional support. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Commercial, Supply Chain, Quality, and Vendors to evaluate new product opportunities, track development progress, and ensure data‑driven decision‑making from concept through launch. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working across multiple teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in product development, analytics, merchandising, or a similar role, preferably in tires, automotive, or industrial products.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)
  • Experience preparing executive‑level reports and presentations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Mandarin is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support new product development initiatives from concept through commercialization
  • Analyze market data, product performance, costs, and margins to support product decisions
  • Assist with product line reviews, assortment optimization, and lifecycle management
  • Prepare business cases, product briefs, and comparison analyses for leadership review
  • Track product development timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate cross‑functional inputs (Commercial, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing)
  • Maintain accurate documentation, specifications, and product data in internal systems
  • Support stage‑gate or governance reviews with data, reporting, and presentations
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to collect samples, specifications, pricing, and forecasts
  • Maintain product databases, costing models, and performance dashboards
  • Support quality reviews, issue tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop clear, concise reports and slide‑ready material for leadership
  • Monitor KPIs related to product performance, cost, lead times, and inventory
  • Provide regular updates on development progress and risks
