About The Position

TEHORA is currently looking for a Business Analyst with solid experience in their field of expertise to contribute to structuring technological projects for public and private organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management, administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years in business analysis, including 2 years in the public or municipal sector (an asset).
  • Proficiency with modeling tools (Enterprise Architect, Lucidchart, Visio).
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
  • Experience with requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Understanding of digital transformation challenges.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills (French).
  • Ability to lead workshops and facilitate collaboration.
  • Synthesis skills and ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Rigor and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Possess CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA, or equivalent certifications (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in mandates related to the Business Analyst profile.
  • Analyze business needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Produce required documentation, analyses, and deliverables.
  • Gather, analyze, and document users' functional and non-functional needs.
  • Model business processes (BPMN, UML) and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Write specifications, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to translate needs into technical solutions.
  • Participate in the evaluation of proposed solutions (feasibility analysis, cost/benefit).
  • Lead workshops with stakeholders to validate requirements.
  • Ensure follow-up of deliverables and their compliance with initial needs.
  • Contribute to change management by supporting users in adopting new solutions.
