About The Position

Under the direction of Manager, Digital Health, the Analyst is accountable for data analysis related to the evaluation of strategic initiatives, resource utilization, quality improvement and performance. The incumbent supports the various Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) programs in its continuing efforts to implement activities aimed at increasing evidence based decision making and development of appropriate measures to monitor SHA programs and activities. Requirements

  • 3-5 years' recognized experience in a complex health care environment
  • Experience in resource utilization and large projects in healthcare environment
  • Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management (BSHIM), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BScIT), Bachelor of Administration (BAdmin), Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration, Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSocSC), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Demonstrates leadership skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Computer skills
  • Data analysis skills
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and improvement striving towards zero harm
  • Knowledge in organization's goals, vision, mission and values
