Our Technical Operations team comprises aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that ensure they’re well-equipped and ready to transport our customers to their desired destinations. If you’re prepared to work on our planes, join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape. As an Analyst – Strategic Planning, you will support the development and execution of aircraft maintenance strategies that maximize fleet availability, optimize maintenance schedules, and improve overall operational efficiency. Working alongside fleet portfolio owners and cross-functional partners, you will analyze maintenance requirements, identify trends, support long-term maintenance planning efforts, and contribute to strategic initiatives that balance aircraft utilization, maintenance compliance, and cost objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience using data analysis and quantitative problem-solving techniques through internships, academic projects, or professional experience.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify trends, solve problems, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Basic understanding of forecasting, modeling, or operational analysis concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or professional experience in planning, strategy, analytics, maintenance, operations, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with airline operations, maintenance planning, or technical operations environments.
  • Basic SQL or programming experience.
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, or analytical models.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, maintenance, and implementation of long-term airframe maintenance plans.
  • Perform data mining, trend analysis, and forecasting to support maintenance planning decisions.
  • Analyze aircraft maintenance schedules, operational constraints, and resource availability to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Assist in evaluating maintenance strategies through scenario analysis and quantitative modeling.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Track and report key performance indicators to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Records, Maintenance Programs, Supply Chain, and Maintenance Operations teams to resolve planning issues and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Support special projects focused on improving maintenance planning processes, aircraft availability, and operational performance.
  • Maintain planning tools, databases, and analytical models used to support fleet maintenance strategies.
