Job Description & Program Overview Our Global Corporate & Investment Banking business focuses on building long-term relationships with more than 3,000 large U.S. and multinational corporations, financial institutions and financial sponsors. We provide strong advisory expertise, capitalizing on powerful mergers and acquisitions, corporate banking, treasury, debt and equity product expertise to deliver integrated financial solutions. Within the Loan Syndications group, analysts help orchestrate capital raising and strategic advisory alternatives, with transactions focused on assisting our clients raise capital with other banks / financial institutions being the primary investor base. Over the course of the analyst program, you will gain experience across numerous sectors, including Healthcare, TMT, FI, Natural Resources, GIG, and Consumer & Retail. Our group’s mandate is to structure various types of bank debt to accommodate our client’s desires to either generate or sustain ample liquidity in their capital structure or provide funding to facilitate pending acquisition or strategic activity. As an analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Developing pitch materials for both regular way and strategic financing Performing various analyses, including cost and structuring considerations Creating and maintaining comparable transaction databases Preparation of internal committee materials for acquisition financing Participation in due diligence sessions, communication and interaction with deal team members Management of several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
