About The Position

The Senior Analyst provides analytical, quantitative, and decision-support expertise in support of government programs and mission objectives. The analyst applies operations research methodologies, statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and data analytics techniques to evaluate complex problems, improve organizational performance, and support strategic and operational decision-making. This position works closely with government sponsor across stakeholders, program managers, technical teams, and leadership to assess program effectiveness, develop analytical solutions, and provide recommendations based on data-driven insights.

Requirements

10 years’ experience in operations research, or related field, and a bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or Mathematics.
Six (6) years’ experience in operations research, or related field, and a Master’s Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or Mathematics.
Working knowledge in at least three (3) of the following disciplines: Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Operations Research, Program Management, Constraint/Queuing Theory, Mathematical Simulation Models, Spares Optimization.
Ability to lead projects and tasks
Excellent organization skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
Strong data visualization skills across MS365 suite of tools

Responsibilities

Plan, facilitate, and support complex methodology development and evaluation, business process re-engineering, identify best practices, change management, business management techniques, and organizational development.
Apply process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects.
Provide activity and data modeling, develop modern business methods, identify best practices, create and assess performance measurements, and provide group facilitation, interviewing, and training.
Oversee data collection, analysis, and experiment report development and preparation.
Manage, analyze, and visualize data using statistical software, spreadsheet and graphic presentation software, and develops customized tools.
Aid customers with executing decision analysis processes to prioritize events and develop reports.
