Summary: The Waters Advanced Diagnostics Analyst, Revenue Accounting, is primarily responsible for supporting the Associate Director, Revenue Recognition & General Accounting and collaborating with the revenue recognition accounting team. The Analyst supports revenue recognition activities for the U.S. Advanced Diagnostics business, including preparation, analysis, and utilization of BOT output files for revenue recognition software, maintenance of supporting documentation, and interaction with internal stakeholders and external auditors. This role requires strong Excel skills to build, enhance, and review revenue recognition support files using advanced formulas, perform ad hoc analysis, and support audit‑ready documentation. The main responsibilities of this role include preparing sales contract arrangement line items and compiling recognition and purchase events for monthly upload into the revenue recognition system. The Analyst is also responsible for preparing account reconciliations and supporting participation in audits and cross‑functional projects. This role requires exercising professional judgment, maintaining audit‑ready documentation, and managing assigned responsibilities with increasing independence.
