About The Position
We are currently hiring multiple Analysts to support a large-scale regulatory reporting remediation initiative within one of Canada's leading financial institutions. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a long-term career in banking operations, compliance, AML, or financial services. You will gain hands-on experience working with financial transaction reporting, internal banking systems, and regulatory processes while developing strong operational and analytical skills.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive work.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (copy/paste, filtering, sorting, basic formulas).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and work within established guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting productivity expectations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in banking operations, financial services, transaction processing, or data entry.
- Internship or co-op experience within a financial institution.
- Exposure to payments, wire transfers, regulatory reporting, or operational support environments.
- Familiarity with financial transactions and banking systems is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate financial transaction data for regulatory reporting.
- Correct missing or inaccurate information within reporting records.
- Analyze transactions to determine the appropriate reporting classification.
- Update reporting information using internal banking systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Perform high-volume data remediation while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
- Track daily productivity and meet established performance targets.
- Escalate complex cases that fall outside established procedures.
- Follow structured workflows and documented processes to ensure reporting quality.
