About The Position

The Portfolio Analytics & Reporting team is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of portfolio track records, performance reporting, and risk metrics for both internal and external stakeholders. The team works closely with Product Specialist, Investor Relations, Fund Accounting, Operations, Valuation, Deal Execution, and Technology teams. The Portfolio Analytics team is seeking an Analyst to join its team to focus on PFS’s Real Estate platform. The team is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of performance reporting and risk metrics both internally to portfolio managers and externally to investors. The team works closely with Product Specialist, Investor Relations, Fund Accounting, Operations and Valuation teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or Business-related field
2-4 years of relevant experience
Interest in credit and financial markets, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
Experience with data management and various reporting tools with keen attention to detail
Strong technical skills within Excel
Strong organizational and process management skills
A demonstrated strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative, small team

Nice To Haves

Knowledge in Python and SQL is a plus

Responsibilities

Monitor, track and analyze performance at the investment, portfolio and fund level.
Create and update client portfolio reports (monthly/quarterly/ ad hoc); prepare ongoing and ad hoc investor data requests, fund performance queries and reports, while collaborating with Valuation, Fund Accounting and Investor Relations teams.
Ensure the on-going quality and accuracy of performance reporting, maintain the integrity of internal processes and databases used to track key performance and investment metrics at the investment, and portfolio levels including industry, sector, country, investment type, market cap, leverage, and regional exposures, etc.
Assist in the operational due diligence of existing and potential new investors
Coordinate and interact with investor relations, compliance, portfolio managers, and operations around new product launches, servicing clients, and delivering custom requests
