About The Position

The Analyst, Professional Billing Analyst is responsible for supporting the
implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Epic Professional Billing
(PB)/ Claims Remittance application. Collaborates with clinical, operational,
and financial teams to ensure effective billing processes and workflows within a
Hospital. The Analyst, Professional Billing will report to Director of Revenue
Cycle Applications. This role is a full time role that will require flexibility
of schedules of working hours. Hours may be subject to change to support the
application during upgrades and on call.

Requirements

• Prior experience working on medium to large size projects of two hundred fifty (250) five hundred plus (500+) hours.
• Experience working in a healthcare environment
• EPIC Application Resolute Professional Billing
• Knowledge of the client areas function and systems, technology alternatives, and ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff.
• Knowledge of applications security and control procedures in accordance with departmental, vendor standards and regulatory bodies.
• Proficient in using Epic Professional Billing tools and familiarity with reporting tools such as crystal reports and data analysis software
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member across multiple teams
• Ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issues
• Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to manage one's own work independently in a fast --paced environment with changing priorities.
• Must be able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Work PowerPoint, etc.)
• Demonstrates ability to develop complex specifications for all aspects of applications, and familiarity with problem analysis, hardware/software configurations and application

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, or other related field - Preferred
• Certificates in other EPIC Inpatient Clinical Modules - PREFERRED
