Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or related quantitative discipline from an accredited university, with demonstrated academic excellence (3.5+ GPA preferred)
  • 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, investment banking, or real estate, with proven ability to synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative information into actionable insights
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling, data analysis, and automation; proficiency in PowerPoint for executive presentation development; experience with financial databases and research platforms preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex analyses to senior executives, adapt messaging for diverse audiences, and maintain professional correspondence with high-net-worth clients
  • Self-directed work ethic combined with collaborative team mentality; ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Argus Enterprise, CoStar, REIS, or similar real estate analysis platforms; familiarity with GIS mapping tools and demographic analysis software
  • Internship or academic project experience in commercial real estate, urban planning, or property development; coursework in real estate finance, land use planning, or construction management
  • Interest in pursuing advanced certifications such as CFA, MAI, CCIM, or similar credentials; demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
  • Understanding of real estate development processes, zoning regulations, construction methodologies, and capital markets fundamentals

Responsibilities

  • Develop sophisticated financial models and feasibility analyses for complex development projects, utilizing JLL's proprietary databases, Argus Enterprise, and advanced Excel modeling techniques to evaluate investment opportunities ranging from $50M to $2B+
  • Conduct comprehensive market studies analyzing demographic trends, competitive landscapes, zoning implications, and economic drivers using JLL's exclusive research platform, CoStar, Real Capital Analytics, and local market expertise
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and investment memoranda for C-suite executives and institutional decision-makers, while participating in client meetings, site visits, and due diligence sessions that directly impact transaction outcomes
  • Partner with JLL's Capital Markets, Leasing, Project & Development Services, and Research teams to deliver integrated advisory solutions, gaining exposure to the full spectrum of commercial real estate services
  • Manage comprehensive due diligence processes including site analysis, regulatory review, environmental assessments, and third-party coordination while maintaining rigorous quality standards and client communication protocols
  • Assist in proposal development, pitch preparation, and thought leadership initiatives that showcase JLL's advisory capabilities to prospective clients and reinforce existing relationships
  • Actively participate in industry organizations such as ULI, NAIOP, and ICSC, while representing JLL at conferences, networking events, and continuing education programs
