About The Position

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Analyst, Pricing and Underwriting to join their team. The ideal candidate will be located in Madison, WI, and will work a hybrid schedule. This role is responsible for supporting the Pricing and Underwriting team with financial price modeling of provider networks, manufacturer rebates, cost of risk, and client administrative fees. The Analyst will support the growth team with client proposals and will be responsible for performing various analyses and creating reports that facilitate critical business decisions. The objective is to utilize and harness data effectively to best serve clients, promote the business model, and support client growth. The Analyst evaluates agreements with various stakeholders via financial price trend modeling, analysis, and reporting. The position’s primary responsibility is to incorporate provider reimbursement data, client or prospective client pharmaceutical claims information, geographical data, network access, manufacturer rebate performance, allocated expenses, and other information to establish client pricing and other reports in support of Navitus sales and client retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Emphasis in business, economics, mathematics, or actuarial science preferred.
  • Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • The ideal candidate will be located in Madison WI working hybrid.
  • Relevant experience with business, statistics, and analytical programs desired
  • PBM, managed care, business, statistics, or analytical programs experience is a plus
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance sales support mechanisms for prospective clients
  • Calculate risk of pricing metrics and value derived from the relationship with the client
  • Review, pro-actively identify, and support implementation of opportunities for rebate, pricing, and discount performance improvement via analysis
  • Research external and internal pricing trends and forecasts to contribute to overall pricing strategy
  • Maintain databases to support business decisions and inform responses to client or prospective client requests
  • Track and report client performance impacts of relevant programs. (e.g. Savings Connect)
  • Monitoring of forecasted results as they compare to actuals
  • Identify opportunities for client savings or program enhancements
  • Perform analyses as requested by internal and external business owners, or in support of identified business objectives
  • Develop an understanding of contractual terms and performance to assist in development of program strategies, pricing decisions, and contract language
  • Perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy of pricing and processes
  • Other duties as assigned
