About The Position

At Doctors of BC, the Analyst, Practice Transformation provides analytical support to the PI leadership team and maintains the integrity and utility of the data collected in the program’s client relationship management (CRM) system, and across other platforms, related to the delivery of services by the Practice Support Program and the Doctors Technology Office. This position is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of data standards within the CRM including the upskilling and training of field staff to promote consistent, high quality data entry and usage. The Analyst will also provide expertise in the design and evolution of any CRM and other data systems as program needs emerge. Additional responsibilities include collation and presentation of data to support leadership decisions making, ongoing operations, internal quality assurance and reporting. This position requires a demonstrated ability to work with multiple groups across Doctors of BC, as well as an ability to think proactively and strategically regarding the data and reporting needs of the program and organizations. Effective and clear communication (both written and oral) of complex analytical concepts to decision makers and various groups is a substantial part of this role. The Analyst will support multiple streams of activity related to the daily operations and future direction of the programs in a fast paced and evolving environment.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate university degree in a recognized and related discipline, AND up to two years of related experience; OR have an equivalent level of related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education.
  • Ability to synthesize and evaluate feedback from multiple sources.
  • Ability to translate technical information to various audiences.
  • Excellent writing skills and experience developing clear, concise, and comprehensive correspondence and other documents.
  • Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication and relationship management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent skills in critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply problem solving skills with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
  • Project support experience, including implementing timelines, estimating, and identifying risks.
  • Strong client/customer service orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of the team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the BC health care system or general knowledge of the BC health care system is an asset.
  • Previous success working in dynamic, challenging, and ambiguous environments, an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar) and Tableau (or similar) is an asset.
