The Power, Energy & Infrastructure group, specifically, works with clients across various verticals including Oil & Gas, Midstream, Refining & Marketing, Oilfield Services, Power & Utilities, Renewables & Energy Transition, Sustainable Fuels, EPC, and Infrastructure. Clients in this group include global corporations, financial sponsors, governments, and other key stakeholders. This role is based in the Houston office.

Requirements

A minimum of one year prior investment banking work experience, and an interest in the Power, Energy & Infrastructure sectors
Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
Strong quantitative background and analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, FactSet, Bloomberg and Pitchbook
Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture

Responsibilities

Create and prepare client presentations and marketing materials
Build complex financial models and perform valuation and other analytical exercises
Conduct detailed industry research and competitive analyses
Execute deal processes, support due diligence and liaise with the client or other advisors
