About The Position

Supports and develops clinical systems as they relate to medication use and safety. Creates appropriate changes within the applications to support daily operational workflow within the health system pharmacies. Understands the requirements related to the various medication use initiatives and translates these requirements into detailed design specifications within the pharmacy applications. Meets as needed with members of both the Clinical Pharmacy team and other IT teams to ensure that the solutions being designed within the EMR with regard to medication use are viable and effective. Responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects ensuring successful completion of project expectations within the required timeline. Provision of 24/7 on call support required.

Requirements

• Experience with clinical systems related to medication use and safety.
• Ability to create application changes to support pharmacy operational workflow.
• Understanding of medication use initiatives and ability to translate requirements into design specifications.
• Experience meeting with clinical and IT teams to design EMR solutions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet timelines.
• Willingness to provide 24/7 on-call support.
