About The Position

We are seeking an Analyst, People Technology to join our Firm. This position will be based in our New York office (hybrid). In this role you provide technical support to People Team firm-wide, including talent acquisition, core HCM, compliance, case management, and related Workday processes. Assist with testing during Workday releases, supports data management, reporting and auditing activities, and contributes to process improvement initiatives designed to automate and streamline People Team processes.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems.
  • Proficient knowledge with Workday or other HRIS configuration.
  • Skilled at using technology to execute projects.
  • Knowledge and experience with project management.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgment.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of three years of HRIS configuration experience (Workday preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Gathers and documents client requirements including stakeholder identification, scope, current and future state processes and workflows.
  • Conducts research to address client requirements including but not limited to Workday Community documentation, resources, articles, and posts.
  • Collaborates with clients and People Operations team members to troubleshoot issues and support effective solutions.
  • Assists with Workday configuration, testing, validation, and maintenance.
  • Submits change requests based on requirements and documents configuration changes.
  • Reviews People Team data management processes and recommends improvements to methods and procedures.
  • Researches approaches and solutions including AI to identify opportunities to improve workflows, streamline processes, and enhance collaboration.
  • Assists with regression testing during Workday and related systems releases in collaboration with other departments.
  • Supports implementation of Workday release enhancements, including functionality review, configuration testing, and issue resolution.
  • Supports Workday process implementation change management and helps maintain related job aids in partnership with People Operations.
  • Assists with assigned projects and provides support as needed to meet deadlines and priorities.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
