About The Position

The Analyst, People Technology & Reporting role supports the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday Benefits and Absence Management to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient execution of benefits administration and leave processes. Contributes to the successful delivery of annual Open Enrollment, ACA administration, and ongoing Benefits and Absence operations by maintaining system configuration, supporting reporting, and ensuring data integrity. Partners with People Operations, Payroll, and Total Rewards to resolve system issues, improve processes, and enhance the employee experience. Strengthens People Technology capabilities through reliable production support, standardized configuration, quality assurance, and continuous process improvements that increase operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 2 years of Workday Benefits and Absence configuration experience
  • Workday Core HCM configuration experience including business process management.
  • Experience configuring and supporting Workday Benefits and Absence Management.
  • Experience configuring and supporting ACA administration within Workday, including eligibility configuration, measurement and stability periods, affordability rules, testing, reporting validation, and compliance support.
  • Experience configuring and supporting full-cycle Benefits Open Enrollment, including benefit plans, eligibility rules, enrollment events, testing, and validation.
  • Experience with Workday Report Writer and calculated field development.
  • Experience supporting the Workday security model.
  • Knowledge of and experience using Workday EIB data loads.
  • Microsoft Excel skills that demonstrate proficiency in PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and charts.
  • Experience building relationships and collaborating across teams.
  • Experience adapting priorities and delivering in response to evolving business needs.
  • Commitment to strengthening internal client satisfaction through responsive solutions.
  • Workday production support experience, including time spent in a steady-state organization with a mature Workday system.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Workday implementation experience desired.
  • Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as chatGPT, Gemini, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily system support for Workday Benefits, Absence Management, and other P+C systems including troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions within the context of approved methods.
  • Configure and support Workday Benefits, including benefit plans, eligibility rules, life events, enrollment events, business processes, and the annual Open Enrollment process.
  • Configure and support ACA administration within Workday, including eligibility rules, measurement and stability periods, affordability configuration, testing, reporting validation, and ongoing compliance support.
  • Configure and support Workday Absence Management, including leave plans, time off plans, accruals, eligibility rules, and absence-related business processes.
  • Support small to mid-sized projects and contribute to larger cross-functional initiatives requiring proficient application knowledge.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers and partners to achieve objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to People Operations team members on Benefits and Absence processes.
  • Utilize intermediate Workday reporting skills to design, build, and maintain reports; understand interdependency between Workday modules.
  • Triage and manage requests through the ServiceNow HRSD ticketing system.
  • Evaluate new and existing system functionality, and recommend solutions that create efficiency, ensure compliance, improve scalability, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Apply intermediate skill in requirements definition, functional specifications, analysis and design, system setup and configuration, testing, data conversion, and deployment.
  • Participate in Workday bi-annual release testing and validation for Benefits and Absence functionality.
  • Understand SOX compliance guidelines within SiriusXM regarding security and business process workflow changes.
  • Contribute to change management efforts related to People Technology systems.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular maintenance and system audits.

Benefits

  • We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $65,000 - $85,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
