About The Position

Reporting to the Product Business Architect, this role supports the evolution of the Global Dollar Card (GDC) product ecosystem through data-driven analysis, platform enablement, operational support, and cross-functional collaboration. The Analyst will support product strategy, platform enhancements, customer journey improvements, operational initiatives, and go-to-market activities by translating data, customer insights, and business needs into actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and intellectually curious, with an interest in product management, technology, and emerging AI capabilities and the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience sourcing, combining, validating, and analyzing large datasets and translating findings into actionable business insights.
Experience with data visualization, reporting, and analytics tools such as Tableau, Lumi, Excel, or comparable enterprise analytics platforms, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new data systems and tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams, understand technical concepts, and communicate information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Curious, proactive, and adaptable, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, create structure, and contribute new ideas in an evolving environment.
Experience or exposure to product management, platform management, business operations, strategy, transformation, or similar cross-functional environments, with hands-on experience using collaboration, workflow, or knowledge management tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Airtable, JIRA, or similar platforms.
Interest or experience in emerging technologies, AI, and automation, including using AI-enabled tools or workflows to improve productivity, decision-making, or operational effectiveness.
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.

Responsibilities

Source, analyze, and validate data from multiple enterprise systems to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights that support product initiatives, strategic projects, regulatory activities, and ongoing BAU needs.
Translate data, customer insights, and business needs into recommendations, reporting, dashboards, presentations, and business cases that support product and platform decision-making, leveraging AI resources.
Support product and platform initiatives in partnership with Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Servicing, and Field teams to deliver customer experience and capability enhancements, process optimization, go-to-market activities, testing, implementation, issue resolution, operational readiness, and broader business priorities.
Maintain and manage team tools, collaterals, and knowledge resources that improve governance, team effectiveness, operational transparency, and adoption of product and platform capabilities.
