Requirements

  • Post secondary education required, Preferred Degree or diploma in business or Operations Management or equivalent
  • 1+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Strong computer and database skills
  • Experience with SAP, and Microsoft Office specifically, Excel, Power Query, PowerPoint, Power BI, Word

Responsibilities

  • Assist departmental Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relating to their respective job functions.
  • Record and analyze production data to identify losses and opportunities. Review data for accuracy.
  • Update production reporting in SAP, Power BI, Power Query, and Excel.
  • Manage daily tracking and data entry for production volume, line performance and yield through Excel and SAP, create reporting to highlight and communicate trends.
  • Train/coach production staff in data entry methods and analysis
  • Examine production results for discrepancies and improvement opportunities and support the implementation of initiatives
  • Support warehouse team in verifying production counts in SAP, complete inventory reconciliation, identify variances and resolve discrepancies.
  • Work with production and identifies opportunities to better balance resources as required to meet changes in the production schedule.
  • Organize production paperwork including managing archived files.
  • Create memos, posters to communicate manufacturing updates.
