As an Analyst, Manufacturer Financial Risk, you will help McKesson identify, measure, and mitigate financial risk across manufacturer relationships. Requirements

  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, risk analysis, data analysis, or a related business field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel formulas and functions.
  • Relevant experience manipulating large datasets and generating insights.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, automation, or process improvement technology to streamline analysis, improve efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated analytical reasoning and intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Naturally curious, with a desire to learn, ask questions, and understand how businesses operate.
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the monthly net exposure refresh process, ensuring McKesson maintains an accurate and actionable view of manufacturer risk.
  • Manage pre-refresh activities, including manufacturer hierarchy maintenance, onboarding of new manufacturers, and organizational hierarchy updates.
  • Execute refresh activities, including: Data extraction across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory; Data consolidation and transformation; Data validation and quality assurance; Reporting and publication of results.
  • Perform post-refresh analysis, including: Leveraging AI-enabled tools to identify potential risk and value-creation opportunities; Conducting deep-dive analysis to validate identified opportunities, quantify risk exposure, assess potential business impact, and develop recommended mitigating actions; Socializing findings with internal stakeholders and aligning on risk assessments, priorities, and action plans.
  • Manage a portfolio of manufacturers with active risk mitigation initiatives by incorporating newly refreshed exposure data, reassessing priorities, and driving appropriate follow-up actions to closure.
  • Partner across Legal, AR, AP, Returns, Procurement, Finance, and Business Units to align stakeholders and support timely execution of mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the Manufacturer Financial Risk playbook by capturing lessons learned, documenting outcomes, and identifying opportunities to improve future effectiveness.
