About The Position

The City of Bellevue is seeking a Risk Management Specialist - Analyst/Finance Manager to join their Risk Management Division. This dual-function role involves data analytics, database management, and financial support, including budget monitoring. The position serves as a key resource for risk-related data, reporting, and financial administration across the City, working under the general direction of the Risk Manager.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
Four or more years of professional related experience in Data Analysis, Financial Management, and/or Public Administration.
Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and Salesforce platform databases.
Or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, competencies and abilities.

Responsibilities

Partners with the budget office to manage the Risk Management Division’s operating budget.
Maintains budget monitoring for Risk Management.
Coordinates with procurement on Request for Proposals and Contract management.
Participates in insurance policy renewal processes as directed by the Risk Manager.
Assists in the research, data compilation, and preparation of risk management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Develops high proficiency with the Riskonnect RMIS (Salesforce Platform Database) to generate and manage risk management data across the organization.
Collaborates with the City's Business Intelligence team to transition and maintain dashboards in Microsoft Power BI, ensuring accurate and accessible reporting.
Maintains current reports and corresponding dashboards on City Intranet sites, ensuring information is up-to-date.
Supports the Risk Manager in special projects related to loss control, risk financing, claims administration, safety, and other risk management activities for the City and contracting governmental entities.
Maintains confidentiality of electronic records and exercises appropriate document control in handling sensitive risk and claims data.
