Analyst Lead, Strategy & Planning
About The Position
The Analyst Lead, Strategy & Planning helps strengthen FIS’s market position by analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, business outlooks, and emerging opportunities. Working closely with Strategy Leads, the role translates strategic priorities—including the Enterprise AI strategy—into clear, measurable outcomes. It partners across functions to turn data and insight into decision-ready action and support executive-level communications. The position leads high-priority strategic projects from framing complex business issues and directing analyses through to developing actionable recommendations. It uses financial acumen and traditional and AI-native methods to analyze operational and financial data, and works with colleagues at all levels to achieve goals through interpersonal and influencing skills, without direct control over resources.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant strategy experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfort and familiarity with using AI tools.
Nice To Haves
- Strategy experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm serving financial services, payments, fintech, or technology.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and business outlooks to inform business planning.
- Lead high-priority strategic projects end to end, including framing complex issues, directing analysis, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Use financial acumen and traditional and AI-native methods to analyze operational and financial data and surface decision-ready insights.
- Support the creation of CEO-level executive communications.
- Work cross-functionally with colleagues at all levels, using interpersonal and influencing skills to achieve goals without direct control over resources.
- Partner with Strategy Leads to translate strategic priorities, including the Enterprise AI strategy, into clear, measurable outcomes.
