About The Position

We have a Contract role for an Analyst, IT Business for our client at Madison, WI. This is a 6-month contract position with a pay rate of $63.00 per hour on W2. The role requires significant experience in Business Process & Manufacturing Knowledge, specifically in Process Manufacturing and/or Discrete Manufacturing environments. Key areas include Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Electronic Batch Records (EBR), Shop Floor Control, Production Order Execution, Material Consumption and Goods Receipt, Work Instructions and Operator Guidance, Rework and Deviations, Non-Conformance Management, Quality Inspections, and Batch Management and Traceability. Experience in regulatory manufacturing environments such as FDA, ISO13485, and GDP is essential. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) configuration, including Plant and Work Center setup, Production Process Design, Production Routing, POD configuration, Data Collection, Electronic Signatures, User Roles, Material Traceability, and Production Process Designer (PPD). Execution Area Expertise in Shop Floor Execution, Order Dispatching, Labor Tracking, Batch Genealogy, and Scrap/Rework Handling is also crucial. Integration skills are critical, including understanding SAP S/4HANA, Process Orders, Master Recipes, Inspection Plans, Production Versions, Batch Management, and Inventory Transactions. Familiarity with SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), OAuth Authentication, and API Management is required. Experience with DM-EWM integration, Cloud Connector configuration, and OAuth 2.0 authentication decisions is also noted. Additional integration knowledge in SAP EWM, SAP QM, SAP PPDS, QMS integration, and Label printing is beneficial. Strong Requirements Gathering Skills, including Workshop Facilitation, Process Mapping, and documentation of Current State (AS-IS) processes, are vital for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Configure SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) including Plant and Work Center setup, Production Process Design, Production Routing, POD configuration, Data Collection, Electronic Signatures, User Roles, Material Traceability, and Production Process Designer (PPD).
  • Provide expertise in Shop Floor Execution, Order Dispatching, Labor Tracking, Batch Genealogy, and Scrap/Rework Handling.
  • Understand and configure integrations with SAP S/4HANA, Process Orders, Master Recipes, Inspection Plans, Production Versions, Batch Management, and Inventory Transactions.
  • Utilize SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), OAuth Authentication, and API Management for integrations.
  • Facilitate workshops with Production Planning Validation (CSV), Master Data Teams, and Process Mapping.
  • Document Current State (AS-IS) processes, including paper batch records, existing work instructions, manual signatures, and existing shop floor processes.
