About The Position

LifeSci Advisors is a unique investor relations consultancy founded to provide companies in the life sciences with comprehensive solutions for investor communications and outreach. Our services are designed to increase our clients’ visibility within the investment community and to educate investors about the opportunity. We strive to effectively communicate each client’s unique value proposition and build momentum for the investment. This in-depth knowledge allows us to provide each client partner with thoughtful recommendations on corporate communications, investor outreach, and capital markets planning. This is a client-facing role suited for an early-career professional looking to build expertise at the intersection of life sciences and capital markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, finance, communications, or related field
  • 0-4 years of experience in life sciences, banking or financial services is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight timelines
  • High sense of professionalism and customer service mindset
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Prepare agendas for weekly/bi-weekly client calls and identify action items for the LifeSci team (and the Client)
  • Prepare client deliverables, including shareholder reports, short interest reports, and research readership reports
  • Keep track of upcoming client events and investor outreach activities, and anticipate what deliverables or action items are necessary
  • Plan and prepare client events and investor outreach activities, including coordinating client and team calendars
  • Track news and activity of clients’ competitors to help provide proactive intelligence to clients
  • Collect and analyze sell-side estimates and maintain consensus model
  • Monitor and compile peer group research; following industry, competitor and customer developments and news flow, including earnings calls and analyst days - communicating key takeaways to management teams
  • Participate in client meetings and calls
  • Occasional travel to meet clients in their headquarters and/or at investor conferences is required
