About The Position

The Investor Relations Analyst supports HarbourVest’s Investor Relations team in managing and enhancing institutional investor relationships. The Analyst works closely with senior Business Development professionals and Relationship Managers, as well as internal partners across investment teams, product specialists, consultant relations, commercial operations, client service, marketing, RFP, and compliance. This position combines territory pipeline and CRM reporting, research, client and prospect materials, portfolio analysis, cash flow modeling, due diligence coordination, and investor onboarding support. The Analyst will develop familiarity with institutional investor segments and HarbourVest’s private equity, private credit, and infrastructure strategies, including primary, secondary, and co-investment approaches and different implementation structures. The role also develops expertise in HarbourVest’s QIS and Lumina capabilities and how they can support client partnerships. Initially focused on internal support, the Analyst can take on increasing ownership and client exposure as knowledge, judgment, and experience develop. The position is hybrid, with 18 remote workdays per quarter available at the employee’s discretion subject to manager approval. It is non-exempt and eligible for overtime.
