About The Position

Walton Enterprises is seeking a qualified Investment Operations Analyst. The Investment Operations Analyst primarily serves to implement the portfolio decisions recommended by the Investment Team. This involves completing documentation related to investments, maintaining accurate records of transactions, and developing a strong working knowledge of the clients and their portfolios. The role also requires a significant amount of both written and oral communication with and coordination between internal and external stakeholders. The work environment is fast-paced, and deadline driven. We will provide on-the-job training for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between clients, fund managers and administrators, custodian, investment team and internal staff to prepare, execute, and submit all documentation related to investments in client portfolios.
  • Review monthly and quarterly performance reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with performance reporting group to provide timely and accurate updates and information regarding changes to client portfolios.
  • Collect, interpret, and organize information relating to all aspects of client portfolios – including amendments, consent forms, investment and liquidity opportunities and elections, fund updates, and anticipated cash flows – and coordinate with investment team to ensure any necessary actions are taken for client portfolios.
  • Proactively support client and portfolio objectives through communication with third-party service providers.
  • Review documentation and maintain correspondence.
  • Complete ad hoc reports and requests.
  • Utilize manager/custodian websites to monitor client transactions and cash flows.
  • Utilize internal and external resources to support client activities.
  • Provide administrative support to client teams.
  • Maintain awareness of current investment themes and client interests.
