Analyst, Inventory Control
About The Position
The Analyst, Inventory Control is responsible for maintaining and reconciling warehouse inventory daily. The role counts full goods and raw materials, investigates inventory variances, and reconciles inventory records with the SAP computer system. It also supports product dating, purchasing and stock transfers, vendor pickups, inventory planning for customer orders, and audit-compliant paperwork. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of general sales experience required.
- Experience using MS Office, including Excel and Word.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of sales and customer service-specific experience preferred.
- Inventory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Count all full goods and raw materials in the warehouse daily, manually or using a handheld scanner.
- Research and reconcile daily inventory variances.
- Reconcile daily, monthly, and annual inventory to the SAP computer system.
- Identify and report close-dated product.
- Create purchase orders and stock transfers.
- Initiate contact with outside vendors to pick up loads.
- Work with the Inventory Planner to supply sufficient inventory for customer orders.
- Ensure daily paperwork is in order for audit compliance.
