About The Position
Rystad Energy is seeking motivated candidates with a strong academic track record and an analytical mindset to join their analyst department as interns. This department covers Renewable and Power, Energy Systems, Oil and Gas, Commodity Markets, and Energy Services. Interns will contribute to the company's databases and reports, which are utilized by clients globally. The role involves gathering, analyzing, and presenting research, taking part in value-adding analysis, and gaining responsibility for work streams under the supervision of experienced analysts. Tasks include updating market-leading databases, modeling, and report writing. The internship is typically 12 weeks during June to August.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree.
- Strong academic track record in a relevant field (engineering, finance, economics, etc.).
- Proven analytical, quantitative, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in learning about the energy industry and the energy transition.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and present research across the analyst department.
- Gather, interpret, and update market-leading databases.
- Perform modeling and report writing.
- Take part in value-adding analysis.
- Take responsibility for own work streams under supervision.
