Requirements

  • Post-Secondary education in Industrial Engineering/Logistics or related field
  • Experience in a related field, preferably within a Supply Chain environment
  • Experience with Engineered Labour Standards (data collection, standards development, documentation) is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of VBA and or Microsoft Access competency required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to partner with all levels of management and unionized colleagues and be able to communicate detailed/technical topics to non-technical audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Manhattan knowledge/experience preferred
  • MOST certification/understanding is an asset
  • SQL knowledge is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support audits and ensure Loblaw’s methodologies / integrity is maintained at all times
  • Perform data collection to support development and maintenance of Labour Standards
  • Resolve any post-audit issues in a timely manner, and communicating the results to all required parties.
  • Support the creation of Labour Standards methodologies and implementations
  • Develop new elements using MOST analysis and/or stopwatch studies
  • Analyze Labour Standards trends and improvement impacts
  • Continuous Improvement identification while on-site in Loblaw’s distribution Network
  • Perform system updates as required
  • Support business ad-hoc projects as needed
