What you’ll do Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Work hand-in-hand with the Scout IT and Digital teams to identify the right suppliers to build and supply goods & services. Establish sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, lead the sourcing process up to and including contract award. Lead cross-functional teams to support the evaluation of suppliers via the RFP process. Work together and collaborate with the diverse Scout business areas. Act as Project Manager and Procurement lead. Prepare and execute commercial negotiations including contractual documents and nomination agreements.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years in purchasing environment with experience developing and executing procurement category strategies.
  • 2-4 years of proven track-record in negotiations
  • 2-4 years of project management experience
  • 2-4 years of knowledge of procurement systems (SAP, Ivalua, Coupa, etc.)
  • Experience in Ivalua or other similar systems
  • Strong Experience managing supplier performance
  • Ability to develop, nurture, and maintain excellent stakeholder and partner supplier relationships
  • Thorough knowledge of automotive, manufacturing or related industries
  • Ability to take on additional special projects in addition to standard responsibilities.
  • MS Office Suite Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other relevant area.
  • High integrity and professionalism

Nice To Haves

  • 2-4+ years of experience in IT related categories: software, hardware and IT Services.
  • 2-4+ years of experience working through IT Critical projects focused on technology and innovation: Implementations, transformations, managed services.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in Automotive Industry particularly in launch, startup, or new model programs
