About The Position

The Item Enablement team ensures customers can buy what they want how they want it, with a tech-powered, people-led approach that is helping to define the future of retail. This is a transformative opportunity leading the strategic management and delivery of key initiatives that support automated, sustainable processes, decisions and optimizations for what Walmart sells online.

Requirements

  • Experience in data analytics, preferably in eCommerce retail or a similar high-volume environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in project management
  • Highly effective storytelling capabilities, building and presenting key insights to senior leaders and broad audiences
  • A data-driven mindset, utilizing data insights to inform strategic decisions, identify business opportunities, and drive improvements
  • Proactive in taking initiative, demonstrating ability to lead and manage projects independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt, pivot, and thrive in a fast-paced digital retail environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related area
  • 2-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, eCommerce Operations, Project Management, or similar roles
  • Experience in corporate-level storyboarding and communication skills, with excellent presentation abilities and interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in SQL and other data analysis tools, including visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area.
  • Option 2: 2 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Python, R, and machine learning techniques for data analysis is preferred
  • Analytics - Big Data, Data Analysis and Insights, Statistical Programming Language
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business performance data to triage and root cause transactability issues using available systems and tools to identify top drivers and trends
  • Leverage data and AI tools to derive insights, handle large datasets, and identify trends that inform business strategies on how to improve performance
  • Support and manage reported transactability issues and escalation workflows to ensure process efficiency, operational consistency, and timely resolutions
  • Collaborate with business partners to align analytical approaches and ensure consistent strategy execution
