About The Position

This position offers essential support to the Supervisor, RAC Compliance and the successful execution of the RAC department initiatives and strategies. The analyst plays a vital role in enhancing regional and global readiness and ensuring alignment with corporate policies, tactical activities, legislative actions and regulations affecting ONE’s operations. This position will be responsible for independent work as well as participating in large-scale team projects. The analyst will build a relationship based on collaboration, trust and respect with all business units to create a seamless and productive compliance review process. This position will rely heavily on existing data analytical skills (Looker, Dashboard) supporting RAC department activities, as well as perform trend identification and recommendation for business process or systemic enhancements. This position will assist in the assessment of regulatory changes to evaluate impact and the preparation of formal recommendation proposals for business obligations and associated risks. This position will have the opportunity to participate virtually or in-person with industry associations, industry leaders, regulators and legislators to gather critical intelligence on emerging trends and translate regulatory shifts into actionable business strategies.

  • Intermediate to advanced G Suite experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience using reporting and data analytic tools.

Responsibilities

  • Handle sensitive data regarding individual or business activity securely and with integrity and the highest level of discretion.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for one or more business unit Compliance review processes. Maintain the register listing of regulatory requirements and update as needed.
  • Monitor / assess the business unit performance to identify non compliance instances. Investigate and collaborate with the business unit, work with large datasets to identify recommendations for system or process improvement options.
  • Act as a primary source of data, reporting and analytical information for RAC and the business unit Compliance reviews.
  • Assist in the creation and management of dashboards or other visualization tools.
  • Participate in US/CA Customs penalty management, including root cause assessment, mitigation efforts, cost recovery, and reimagine of existing tools to streamline, automate where possible and incorporate with other departments.
