About The Position

The Analyst II, Financial (Lab) defines business requirements and develops reports related to the effectiveness and efficiency of finance and operations. The position reports to the Manager, Finance (Lab).

The role performs complex statistical and cost analyses of data extracted from various systems; evaluates existing reporting procedures and develops strategies to improve them; and works with business functional areas to provide reporting solutions and recommendations. It also develops routines and procedures that help end users use reporting tools and applications according to best practices, and defines, develops, and implements ad hoc and standard reports. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience.
• At least 2 years defining business reporting requirements.
• Intermediate knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Transact-SQL or Oracle PL/SQL.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel spreadsheet calculation, data presentation, and charting skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another business-related field preferred.
