About The Position

The Analyst II – Financial Planning is a business partner who develops an understanding of one or more Company business segments and presents risks, opportunities, and recommendations to the FP&A team. The analyst supports financial resource planning and analysis of actual results against the plan. Responsibilities include preparing accurate and timely budgets, forecasts, and financial summaries, and communicating variance drivers to support business decisions.

Requirements

Experience with financial analysis, reporting, and financial planning, including advanced Excel skills.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
MBA, CPA, or CMA.
Hyperion Planning and/or SmartView experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing forecasts, budgets, operating statistics, and related analyses for assigned business segments or planning components, including loading and retrieving data from Hyperion for business segment or Corporate use.
Analyze, prepare, and summarize actual results and recommendations for financial plans, forecasts, margin, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Assist in developing detailed financial analysis and provide key financial information and analysis to support executive management decision-making and strategy.
Help prepare monthly and quarterly presentations of financial and business results for senior leadership or other departments as needed.
Participate in special projects and analysis, including daily cash forecasting and bank reporting.
