About The Position

This position is responsible for executing complex HR Systems expert support across enterprise master data, compensation, benefits, and payroll-impacted functions. The role is integral to the HR Operations shared services model, ensuring data integrity, system alignment, and consistent delivery of high-quality support within Workday and SAP platforms. As a key contributor to advancing the future vision of the HR Operations delivery model, this role drives productivity, quality, and customer service excellence. Key responsibilities include meeting KPIs and SLAs to ensure the efficient delivery of shared services.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years relevant experience or equivalent.
Intermediate computer skills related to HCM systems.
Must be highly competent in the use of Excel.
Workday process knowledge, Workday and SAP experience highly valued.
Intermediate written and verbal communication skills required.
General working knowledge of key HR support practices and procedures including team member transactional activities and other specific Workforce Administration and Compensation data process and knowledge, ServiceNow systems.
Experience with process documentation, identifying & submitting improvement opportunities.
Understands how to escalate & drive issues to resolution.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and execute & champion new processes; Must be detail-oriented and work well in a team environment.
Perseveres to locate necessary data and identify creative solutions to enable project completion.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and ensure the quality and integrity of core HR support practices and procedures. Partner with functional end users and technical teams to support system functionality and deliver excellent customer service.
Execute testing procedures in alignment with defined objectives, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout.
Provide timely and effective support within established service level agreements (SLAs) to meet department key performance indicators (KPIs).
Support Total Rewards initiatives, including but not limited to compensation adjustments, compensation reviews, and annual benefits enrollment for both professional and frontline employees.
Ensure data integrity and process accuracy by validating, auditing, and managing updates across HR systems (Workday & SAP PRH), payroll integration and reconciliation support. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and assist in the development and validation of mass data loads.
Identify and escalate potential risks related to data, process, or project execution. Contribute to the achievement of milestones for assigned initiatives or projects.
Act as a Small Project Leader on cross-functional projects by serving in roles such as lead analyst, subject matter expert (SME), or technical contributor. Provide leadership and coordination to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery in alignment with organizational goals.
Maintain awareness of industry and internal best practices, proactively sharing recommendations with leadership for process and technology improvements.
Continuously support and drive process optimization efforts by identifying opportunities, simplification, automation, of process and systematic enhancements. Contribute to broader People Operations initiatives, including HR systems, master data, compensation, and benefits support for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Develop and validate load templates for frontline wage reviews, general rate increases (GRI), job profile creation, team member compensation changes, location updates, and organizational initiatives, while partnering closely with HR and internal union compliance teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in compensation adjustments.
Validate, audit, and load updates to positions, jobs, pay scales/structures, and team member pay/compensation data. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies by applying knowledge of related business processes.
Produce and manage quarterly Lobby and JOLTS reports. Provide mainframe support for Beef & Pork data including location and allowance updates.
Provide global, centralized support for HR system corrections and rescinds, organization and position management, master data and compensation audits, as well as domestic payroll integration and reconciliation. Leverage expert knowledge of payroll, benefits, and system integration impacts to ensure data accuracy and process alignment across functions.
Manage ACA compliance related to company health plan eligibility, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Oversee benefits security approvals to safeguard sensitive employee benefits information and maintain compliance with internal policies.
Coordinate with health plan vendors to process corrections and updates promptly, maintaining data accuracy and seamless benefits administration.
Support benefits-specific corrections, rescinds, and audits, ensuring proper reconciliation and back-bridging of benefits data to SAP and other benefits impacted systems.
Assist with reconciliation efforts to guarantee alignment between benefits and payroll data, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Leverage expert knowledge of payroll, benefits, and system integration impacts to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and process alignment across functions.
Provide benefits system support for key lifecycle events including annual enrollment, open enrollment, and status changes (e.g., new hires, qualifying life events, terminations).
Serve as a system subject matter expert during the annual and open enrollment periods, supporting accurate configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and overall process execution.
