Requirements

  • A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting, computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects; relevant work experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong quantitative and research skills, including analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; the ability to conduct targeted research to address client challenges; and intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to continuously learn
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
  • A strong academic track record, with demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Applicants must have at least a 3.3 GPA or higher in their most recent degree to be considered.
  • Candidates who will require future visa sponsorship must have a STEM-eligible degree and at least 36 months of valid post-graduation work authorization, such as F-1 OPT or J-1 Academic Training, to join the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Quantitative analyses: you will help develop data-driven models to address complex economic and financial problems using tools such as SAS, R, Stata, Python
  • Qualitative research: you will conduct research using academic and industry literature, publicly available data sources, and client materials; and you will synthesize findings to inform case strategy and analysis
  • Preparation of reports: you will assist in drafting expert reports, presentations, and internal memoranda, and help prepare materials for client and case team meetings
  • Team collaboration: you will engage regularly with colleagues at all levels through case work and have an opportunity to interact directly with clients
  • Firm-building initiatives: you will contribute to firm life by participating in recruiting, mentoring, and inclusion initiatives; pro bono work; and other business development activities
