About The Position

Our Finance team supports both the main hospital and affiliated physician clinics. As a Financial Analyst, you will partner with experienced leaders to deliver insights that drive strategic decision-making, enhance operational performance, and ensure responsible stewardship of organizational resources. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated, and brings a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred; however, candidates with equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience required.
  • Statistical Mathematical Skills – Ability to work with mathematical and algebraic concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and forecasting. Ability to apply and analyze concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Advanced Computer Skills – Routine use of electronic mail and computer systems. Ability to incorporate complex and complicated functions into documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations to support business objectives.
  • Moderate Communication – Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.
  • Job Specific Impact – Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area.
  • Routine Business Problems – Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares support for general ledger entries in conjunction with monthly closing process.
  • Track and record monthly departmental statistics by required date each month for monthly close.
  • Serve as an interdepartmental liaison; coordinate with the intercompany Accounts Payable team to resolve outstanding items, establish new vendors, and provide status updates to department leaders and vendors.
  • Provide direct support to the Finance team, in meeting the strategic and operational goals primarily through meaningful, accurate, and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to report on the financial impact of operations, identify key operational drivers, and assist in the creation of Monthly Operating reports.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools to gather, analyze, and interpret data for routine reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) and ad hoc analyses.
  • Analyze data trends and present actionable insights to leadership.
  • Preform work in a timely manner, with accuracy.
  • Support the annual budget preparation process.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
